Meyer Timber achieve finalist status as Entrepreneur of the Year 2012 Midlands Finalists
Meyer Timber Ltd acheived Finalist status in the Ernst and Young 2012 ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ (EOY) programme.
Richard Lazenby, Meyer Timber Group Trading Director commented: “Having undertaken a major business development, investment and re-organisation process during the previous 15 months, by Spring 2012 we felt ready to put our progress to date under the spotlight of independent assessment, via the EYO programme”.
The Ernst and Young EYO programme is considered to be amongst the world’s most prestigious business awards. Meyer Timber were therefore delighted to have been selected as Midlands Finalists for 2012, following an in-depth appraisal of the company’s recent developments by a group of Ernst and Young’s EYO Judging Partners.
Having achieved Midlands Finalist status, Meyer Timber progressed to the 2012 Finals, at which the company was appraised against various criteria including strategic direction, innovation, team building, financial performance and national business impact.
